You Need A Fashion Shower

Another day, another fashion collaboration. This time it is the turn of the queen of head to toe couture Anna Dello Russo. Anna burst onto my fashion radar a few years ago thanks in part to street style blogger Tommy Ton and Anna's fabulously eccentric blog. A prominent member of the Conde Nast family, Anna has worked for L'Uomo Vogue carving a name for herself in the menswear fashion scene before moving to Vogue Italia and then Vogue Nippon. Her style is manicured and flamboyant, and her body is utterly phenomenal, thinspiration at it's finest. Her collaboration is with H&M and it appears to be predominantly gold accessories. The collection is out on October 4th a month before H&M's super collaboration with Maison Martin Margiela. A teaser music video has been created for the collection and all I've got to say is... you better werq!

The Dello Russo Rules of Fashion

Lesson Number 1: Fashion is a declaration of your own freedom.
Lesson Number 2: Between style and fashion? Absolutely fashion.
Lesson Number 3: Fashion is always uncomfortable, if you feel comfortable you never get the look.
Lesson Number 4: Fabulous at every age.
Lesson Number 5: wearing night clothes in the daytime is unexpected.
Lesson Number 6: Somebody wearing your same outfit? Wonderful, you did the right choice.
Lesson Number 7: You must wear outfit once.
Lesson Number 8: Wear coat as a dress.
Lesson Number 9: It doesn't matter the size of your body, fashion flatter everything.
Lesson Number 10: Fashion jewels personalise your style.

I am obsessed with the video. I especially like when she demands that you recognise that she is the garden. While I can't say that I approve of the whole collection, or of all of Anna's fashion rules, the gold croc shades below are pretty damn fierce. What do y'all think?

Croc shades? Well I never even imagined. I dig. I also like those rules, especially 3-5. I need to draft my own. That will be a fun insomnia project for me.

I do NOT agree with some of her 'rules' at all - what rubbish. But she is gorgeous - and I do love the ridiculous sunnies! Sarah xxx
