I must admit before I wrote this post I didn't know much about Louise Gray. I'd seen her name dotted about the place as one to watch, I knew that she had attended Central Saint Martins and I knew that she had designed something for the Olympics (the outfits for the world's first all-female horse racing team). It turns out Ms. Gray is the creative breath of fresh air the fashion industry is in dire need of. A colourful and eccentric dresser herself, her clothes are daring, bold and fun as well as being incredibly intricate. Louise has teamed up with Topshop to create a capsule collection of clothing as well as being the first designer to create their own Topshop makeup range. I particularly like the smiley t-shirt in the centre of the image above and on the 23rd of August, when the collection is released, I'll be heading to Oxford St. to play dress-up. To see the collection in it's entirety head on over to Vogue U.K.
